Anti-Hunger and Opportunity Corps Blog Post May 2017

Thank You to Our Presenters in the Uniting our Resources: Best Practices in Food Access End of the Year Conference

Hunger Free America’s Anti-Hunger and Opportunity Corps was pleased to host more than 70 VISTAs from 29 states around the U.S. for Uniting Our Resources: Best Practices in Food Access, a 5-day conference at the National 4-H Conference Center in Chevy Chase, M.D. At the conference the VISTAs were given an opportunity to network with each other and with former VISTAs, share the vast array of knowledge they’ve accumulated during their terms of service, learn valuable best practices useful in ending hunger, and participate in service projects, making a direct impact in the D.C. area.
